It is a big day for the studio: Romain Gelb, our art director, is now part of the Awwwards jury. The platform recognizes the world’s most accomplished websites for their design, creativity and innovation, and its jury brings together respected art directors, designers and developers from around the world, who review the work the industry submits.

For Romain, it recognizes an eye he has trained patiently, project after project. For the studio, it means something more: our day-to-day work now puts us face to face with the finest work on the web, and that exposure carries over into every project we build with you.

Awwwards, the gold standard for creative web design

Awwwards is one of the most demanding awards in web design. Studios and creatives from around the world submit their work, which is judged against precise criteria: design, usability, creativity and content. The highest-rated sites earn honors that have become industry benchmarks, such as Site of the Day.

Being a juror means taking part in that evaluation: regularly reviewing sites from all kinds of backgrounds, scoring them rigorously and standing behind every score. It takes expertise, and just as much humility, because you have to spell out exactly why an interface works, moves you or falls flat. You can only judge well what you truly understand.

What a seat on the Awwwards jury brings to your projects

Sitting on the Awwwards jury means keeping a close eye, week in and week out, on the best work the web has to offer. Every site reviewed feeds a conviction, confirms an instinct or challenges a habit. That sharpened eye then comes back to the studio: it raises the bar for every layout, every animation and every user journey we design for you.

This is not about chasing trends. An award-winning site is not necessarily a site that serves your business, and our job is to tell the two apart: keep what brings clarity and emotion, and leave out anything that is just for show. The creativity we seek out among the best must always serve your territory, your message and your visitors.

We are proud of this recognition, and prouder still of what it promises: a studio that keeps looking outward so it can build, with you, websites that feel like you and truly belong to you.
